I can see the light!

So there is some very exciting news for me that I would like to share with all of my readers... I found a job. Apparently, finally, 17 years of schooling paid off!

Thursday afternoon during my Social Media class my phone rang with a little bit of preliminary information about the place I have been working at for two years part time. Then finally on Monday word came down from the higher ups that they wanted to offer me a job!

Basically, I'll be working at the same radio station I have been in Lima. The guy who is leaving is the one in charge of the station, so I will start out working with another guy learning the ropes of the station. After a little bit of learning, I am going to take over that station completely, and one other one.

I'm so excited right now I can barely contain myself. For a fresh college student, the position that they are offering to me is a very good job, that should pay pretty decently.

  1. Congratulations! That's awesome that you got a job at a radio station you are already familiar with. The opportunity to be in charge of the station someday is quite an honor and very exciting. I'm glad that your pay is good, as that is a factor in my job search with all these student loans from ONU I will have.

Hopefully, I will be writing about a job offer soon because I am about done with the applications and job fairs. Haha. You are lucky to already have an offer and I have to say, I'm jealous. I bet that makes some of the stress and worries about what to do after graduation go away. Good luck and have fun at the radio station!
