Fun with Little Big Town & St. Jude

Hey everyone! I figure this week I’d go ahead and start out with my personal blog post. I’m not too sure I’m in the mood to talk serious today. I’m pretty tired.

Some of you may… or may not know, but I work for a radio station in Lima called New Country 92.1 The Frog. Last year we started an annual benefit concert for St. Jude Children’s research hospital. Basically… a big concert where all the money raised goes towards the charity to help out some pretty cool kids. So last year we had Josh Turner in concert, and this year was Little Big Town.

We got to the Civic Center in Lima around 8:00 in the morning, and left right around midnight, so it was a full day. My primary job was to produce a bunch of videos for the day giving our fans a behind the scenes look at getting ready for the concert. It was actually a lot of fun to kind of host a bunch of online videos knowing that people were watching them all day getting ready for the concert.

Anyway, that explains why I’m so dang tired. We did a lot of work yesterday, got to meet Little Big Town, they put on an awesome show… and when all said and done we raised $55,000 for St. Jude which is pretty freakin’ sweet. I still have a few more videos to produce, so, if you want to check out my work, head on over to The Frog’s YouTube page.

That’s all for now. To sum this post up: I’m tired. Tomorrow we’ll probably talk about The New Influencers by Paul Gillin. I like this one just a tad bit better than Engage. Why? You’ll find out tomorrow.
